International cooperation of BelMAPE. The role of young scientists in ophthalmology

On March 30, 2023, there had been held conference with international participation "The role of young scientists in ophthalmology", organized by Tashkent State Dental Institute, Tashkent Medical Academy and Samarkand State Medical University.

Rector of Tashkent State Dental Institute Khaydarov N.K., rector of Tashkent Medical Academy Shadmanov A.K., rector of the Samarkand State Medical University Rizaev Zh.A. addressed to the audience with a welcoming speech.

25 reports of young scientists were presented at the conference, including two reports of Belarusian scientists led by head of the Department of Ophthalmology of BelMAPE, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Tatyana Imshenetskaya: “Long-term results of surgical treatment of a penetrating wound of the eyeball” (speaker R.R. Yermolkevich, ophthalmologist of the ME "10th city clinical hospital of Minsk") and "Idiopathic intracranial hypertension" (speaker M. A. Svirid, clinical intern of the Department of Ophthalmology of BelMAPE).

According to the results of the conference, ophthalmologist of the ME "10th City Clinical Hospital of Minsk" R. R. Ermolkevich was awarded with a diploma of the 1st degree for his presentation.
