On the 20–22th of April, 2022, representatives of State Educational Establishment «Belarusian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education» participated at the 20th Anniversary International Exhibition «Tourism and Journeys» KITF-2022, which took place in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
The exhibition has been held since 2001 and it is the main event of the country's tourism industry. This is the largest professional tourism platform in Central Asia. KITF exhibition industry experts were awarded the UFI (Worldwide Association of the Exhibition Industry) quality mark for compliance with international standards of the B2B platform.

The 2022 exposition featured 211 companies from 18 countries. Representatives of the tourism industry of the Republic of Belarus also took part in the exhibition. The tourism potential of Belarus was presented by the National Tourism Agency and the information portal of medical services "Clinics of Belarus".
The course of the exhibition was widely covered by the mass media of Kazakhstan.
Medical tourism was of particular importance at KITF-2022. At the National Stand of Belarus, visitors could get acquainted with the capabilities of leading medical institutions to provide high-tech medical care to foreign citizens (oncology, transplantology, cardiology, ophthalmology, traumatology, obstetrics, gynecology, etc.), the activities of the information portal of medical services "Clinics of Belarus", the possibilities of obtaining postgraduate medical education at BelMAPE.

As part of the exhibition events, a number of meetings were organized with representatives of the tourism sector of Kazakhstan, during which topical issues and prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation were discussed.
The stand of the Republic of Belarus was visited by honored guests: Yerkinbaev E.M. - Vice Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Sakenov A.M. - Chairman of the Tourism Industry Committee of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Amankeldi S.B. - Head of the Department of Tourism of the city of Almaty; Sadvakasov K.S. - Deputy of the National Company "Kazakh Tourism"; Shaikenova R.R. - Director of the "Kazakhstan Tourism Association"; Kunanova D.B. - Director of the Tourism Department of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Atameken"; Danilenko B.A. - Director of the exhibition company "ITECA"; General Consuls of the participating countries - Hungary, Indonesia, Iran, Korea, Lithuania, Uzbekistan.

It should be noted that KITF-2022 aroused great interest among Kazakhstan travel companies and residents. It was noted that representatives of the tourism industry and travel lovers have long been waiting for the resumption of the usual "live" format of the exhibition event after a two-year pause.
