International cooperation. On-line conference with the colleagues from Ekaterinburg

On the 3rd of June, 2021, State Educational Establishment “Belarusian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education” organized an on-line conference with Ural State Medical University (Russian Federation, Sverdlov region, Ekaterinburg city). Specialists of the Department of BelMAPE participated scientific and practical conference with international participation «Priority areas of preventive medicine in pediatric practice».

An associate professor of the Department of Pediatrics of BelMAPE, Irina Nenartovich, participated at the conference and gave the report entitled « Diagnostics of protein-energy malnutrition in children». The report presented an overview of the most authoritative and modern approaches to the diagnosis, prevention, treatment and management of patients with this multidisciplinary problem, used in the world and implemented in the practice of Belarusian specialists.

An associate professor of the Department of Pediatrics of BelMAPE, Anna Ruban, in her report entitled «Vaccine prophylaxis of infectious diseases of the respiratory system» got acquainted the colleagues with the principles, possibilities and perspectives of immunoprophylaxis of infectious diseases of the respiratory system, taking into account international and domestic experience in this field, also in the conditions of the pandemic COVID-19.

After the conference, the parties expressed satisfaction with the results of cooperation in the field of pediatrics and a wish to continue cooperation.
