International cooperation. Teleconference with the colleagues from Ekaterinburg

On the 3rd of June, 2021, there had been held a teleconference between specialists of Ural State Medical University (Russian Federation, Sverdlovsk Region, Yekaterinburg) and Belarusian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education (Republic of Belarus, Minsk). Specialists of the Department of Pediatrics of BelMAPE took part in the work of the district scientific and practical conference with international participation "Priority areas of preventive medicine in pediatrics”. 

Irina Nenartovich, associate professor of the Department of Pediatrics of BelMAPE, gave a report entitled "Diagnostics of protein-energy malnutrition in children". The report presented an overview of the most authoritative and modern approaches to the diagnostics, prevention, treatment and management of patients with this multidisciplinary problem, used in the world and being implemented in the practice of the Belarusian specialists. 

Anna Ruban, associate professor of the Department of Pediatrics of BelMAPE, in her report on the topic "Vaccine prophylaxis of infectious diseases of the respiratory system" acquainted the colleagues with the principles, possibilities and prospects of immunization of infectious respiratory diseases, taking into account international and domestic experience in this direction, also in the context of the COVID pandemic-19.

After the conference, the parties expressed satisfaction with the results of cooperation of specialists in the field of pediatrics, as well as a wish to continue cooperation.
