Participation of BelMAPE at International Scientific and Practical Conference « Modern Aspects of Infectious Diseases and Microbiology »

On the 14-15th of September, 2022, the international scientific and practical conference "Modern Aspects of Infectious Diseases and Microbiology" was held at Gomel Regional Socio-Cultural Center in a hybrid format.

From the side of BelMAPE, the speakers were head of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Children's Infections Yuri Gorbich; associate professor of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Children's Infections Natalya Klimovich; associate professor of the Department of Epidemiology and Microbiology Oksana Tonko; associate professor of the Department of Epidemiology and Microbiology Oksana Khanenko.

The conference brought together more than a thousand participants, leading specialists and experts in the field of infectious diseases, microbiology, epidemiology, as well as a number of other specialties from anesthesiologists-resuscitators to phthisiatricians from all over the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation.

Within the framework of the conference, there was a wide exchange of views, research results and the latest scientific and clinical data in various fields of modern infectology, problematic issues were raised, heated discussions unfolded, which even the moderators of sectional meetings could not always stop in order to ensure compliance with the regulations.

Modern aspects of diagnostics and treatment of viral hepatitis, fungal infections, COVID-19, sepsis, human microbiome, antibiotic resistance, HIV infection, neuroinfections and many other aspects, including those lying at the intersection of specialties, filled the conference program.
