Republican Scientific and Practical Seminar with International Participation «Actual Issues of Pediatric Arrhythmology»

On the 8th of February, 2022, specialists of BelMAPE participated at Republican Scientific and Practical Seminar with International Participation «Actual Issues of Pediatric Arrhythmology».
The seminar was organized not only for practitioners who provide assistance in pediatrics in the field of rhythm disturbances, but also for physicians of pediatric specialties. As part of the presentations, the issues of differential diagnosis, indications and results of surgical care for rhythm disturbances in children, emergency treatment algorithms, and the impact of COVID-19 on arrhythmias in children had been considered.

Associate professor of the Department of Pediatrics of the BelMAPE, Candidate of Medical Sciences Anna Ruban gave the report “COVID-19-associated heart lesions in children”, in which she highlighted the impact of COVID-19 on rhythm and conduction disturbances in children, focused on practical points based on her own clinical observations.

At the seminar, the reports were presented by the employees of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Pediatric Surgery, which covered the issues of syncopal conditions in children, differential diagnosis, indications and results of surgical care for rhythm disturbances in children, algorithms for the emergency treatment of rhythm and conduction disorders, and also voiced modern possibilities and achieved results of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Pediatric Surgery. At the seminar, specialists of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Pediatric Surgery presented reports on the issues of syncopal conditions in children, differential diagnosis, indications and results of surgical care for rhythm disturbances in children, algorithms for the emergency treatment of rhythm and conduction disorders, and also on modern possibilities and achieved results of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Pediatric Surgery.
