Specialists of BelMAPE and the colleagues from the Republic of Kazakhstan participated in a teleconference

On the 21st of May, 2021, there had been held a teleconference between the specialists of SMU «Semey Medical University» (the Republic of Kazakhstan) and State Educational Establishment «Belarusian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education» (the Republic of Belarus). By invitation from the organizing committee, specialists of the Department of Pediatrics of BelMAPE took part in the Republican Scientific and Practical Online Conference with international participation «Present-day Pediatrics. Achievements and perspectives. Present-day perinatal medical technologies in the solving of the problems of demographic security».

Head of the Department of Pediatrics, Alexei Pochkailo, gave the repost entitled «Osteoporosis in children as a multidisciplinary problem of present-day pediatrics», devoted to this actual problem. In his report, Alexei Pochkailo stressed upon the most authoritative and modern approaches to diagnostics, prevention, treatment and management of patients with this multidisciplinary problem, applied worldwide and being implemented into the practice of Belarusian specialists.

Associate professor of the Department of Pediatrics, Anna Ruban, in her report «Modern trends in the management of children with acute rheumatic fever» focused on the management of children with this serious disease, got acquainted the colleagues with new approaches to diagnostics, treatment and prevention of rheumatism, international and domestic experience in this field.

After the first part of the conference, the parties expressed satisfaction with the results of cooperation in the field of pediatrics, discussed the perspectives of further joint work.
