The Republican Online-Seminar «Manifestation of diseases on the oral mucosa internal organs»

In accordance with the Order of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus of 01/06/2021 No. 640, on June 16, 2021, the Republican online-seminar (with elements of a master class) "Manifestation of diseases on the oral mucosa internal organs" took place at BelMAPE.

During the seminar, the participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the best practices on topical issues of the diagnostics and treatment of diseases of the oral mucosa. In the course of the work, the issues of providing specialized dental care to patients with OOPD pathology, including malignant neoplasms, were discussed. There had been presented scientifically based results and recommendations on effective methods of prevention of pathology of the oral mucosa. 
During the online seminar, the reports of professor of the Department of Therapeutic Dentistry of BelMAPE, Doctor of Medical Sciences I. Lutskaya presented the report entitled "Methodological instructions for examination of the oral mucosa" and "Manifestation of diseases of internal organs on the oral mucosa".

Head of the Department of Pediatric Oncology, Hematology and Immunology of BelMAPE, Doctor of Medical Sciences, associate professor N. Klimkovich, presented the report "Dental manifestations of blood diseases and immunodeficiencies".  
Head of the Department of General Dentistry, Doctor of Medical Sciences, professor N. Yudina presented the report entitled "Approaches to the diagnostics and treatment of periodontal diseases against the background of somatic pathology." 
Also, the reports were made by associate professor of the Department of Therapeutic Dentistry of BelMAPE, Candidate of Medical Sciences, associate professor E. Kovetskaya (" The state of periodontal disease in patients with chronic renal failure on hemodialysis"), by associate professor of the Department of Therapeutic Dentistry of BelMAPE, Candidate of Medical Sciences O. Zinovenko ( " Clinical manifestations of lichen planus on the oral mucosa "), by associate professor of the Department of Therapeutic Dentistry of BelMAPE, Candidate of Medical Sciences S. Granko (" Features of the diagnosis of HIV infection in the oral cavity").

The distance learning method made it possible to multiply the number of listeners and participants of the seminar. Already on the day of the seminar, 874 views of the seminar materials were registered. Online training events make it possible to master innovative methods of diagnostics and treatment in the present-day epidemiological situation, requiring the development of the methods of advanced training "at a distance", allowing to ensure maximum disunity of the seminar listeners.
