On March 28, 2023, BelMAPE hosted a meeting of clinical residents from Georgia with Tengiz Dumbadze, Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee on International Affairs of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the VII convocation.

The event was attended by First Vice-Rector of BelMAPE Andrey Platonov, Vice-Rector of BelMAPE Sergey Sidorovich, Dean of the Faculty of Surgery Aleksey Chasnoit, Dean of the Faculty of Therapy Elena Vorobyeva, Head of the Department of Clinical Residency and Internship Yulia Kupriyanovich, Head of the International Relations Department Sergey Kozachenko.

Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee on International Affairs of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the VII convocation Tengiz Dumbadze greeted the residents in their native language. The well-known journalist spoke in detail about the main milestones of his life and professional path, spoke about the history, values, mentality of the Georgian people.

Particular emphasis was placed on the noble mission of the medical profession.
The audience was shown the author's film by Tengiz Dumbadze "My Fate is Belarus" about people who found their second homeland in Belarus.

As part of the event, a dialogue was held with clinical residents on a number of topical issues.

At the end of the meeting, singer Tariel Maisuradze sang a number of songs for his countrymen.
