XIX Congress of pediatricians of Russia with international participation "Actual Problems in Pediatrics"

On the 5th –7th of March 2022, the Department of Pediatrics BelMAPE took part in the XIX Congress of pediatricians of Russia with the international participation "Actual Problems in Pediatrics", which was held in Moscow in the hybrid format. On the first day alone, the Congress brought together more than 1,500 in-person and more than 7,000 online participants from various regions of the Russian Federation, far abroad, CIS countries, including the Republic of Belarus.

At the Congress, the Department of Pediatrics of BelMAPE was represented by associate professor of the Department of Pediatrics, Candidate of Medical Sciences, associate professor Anna Ruban and professor of the Department of Pediatrics, Doctor of Medical Sciences, and associate professor Nadezhda Titova. Together with the chief freelance pediatric allergist of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, candidate of medical sciences Dmitry Viktorovich Buza, the report “The burden of allergic diseases in children of the Republic of Belarus” had been presented.

The first report of the symposium “Allergy in children. Sharing Experience”, dedicated to the peculiarities of the distribution and structure of allergic diseases in children in the Republic of Belarus, was the result of close cooperation in matters of pediatric allergology between the Department of Pediatrics and the practical link of health care, namely the clinical base of the department, ME “4th City Children’s Clinical Hospital”, Minsk.

The report focused on the achievements of the modern children's allergic services in Belarus, identified problematic issues, as well as the ways to solve them.

At the same time, it should be noted the high scientific and methodological level and organization of the event. The interdisciplinary nature of the XIXth Congress of Pediatricians created favorable conditions for active discussion of numerous topical issues of pediatrics.
