Andrei Platonov

In 1997, Andrei Platonov graduated from Minsk Red Banner of Labor State Medical Institute in the specialty “General Medicine”.

From 1997 to 1998, Andrei Platonov worked as an intern in traumatology and orthopedics at the 1st City Pediatric Children’s Hospital of Minsk.  

From 1998 to 2006, he worked as a traumatologist at Minsk City Center for Medical Rehabilitation for Children with Psychoneurological Diseases.

From 2006 to 2014, Andrei Platonov worked as a deputy chief physician for treatment at Minsk City Center for Medical Rehabilitation Children with Psychoneurological Diseases.

From 2014 until August 2019, Andrei Platonov worked as head of the Department of International Relations of BelMAPE.

Since 2019, he was appointed to the post of Vice-Rector for Clinical Work of BelMAPE.

Since February 2022, Andrei Platonov has been working as the First Vice-Rector of State Educational Establishment «Belarusian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education».

Andrei Platonov did retraining courses on healthcare management and got the qualification of a health manager.

He did clinical residency course in the specialty «Medical Rehabilitation».

Andrei Platonov finished PhD courses in the specialty «Restorative Medicine, Sports Medicine, Physiotherapy Exercises, Balneology and Physiotherapy».

He successfully defended Candidate’s thesis entitled «Diagnostics and treatment of dysplasia of hip joints in newborns». He has an academic title of associate professor.

He carries out pedagogical work as an Associate Professor at the Department of Sports Medicine and Physiotherapy.

Andrei Platonov is an author of 41 publications.

He was awarded the badge of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus "Excellence in Health Care of the Republic of Belarus", a Certificate of honor of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, a Certificate of honor the Health Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee, a Certificate of Honor of the administration of the Moskovsky district of Minsk.
