Andrei Tanin

Andrei Tanin was born in 1968 in Zhodino, Minsk region.

• In 1993, he graduated from Minsk State Medical Institute.
• From 1993 to 1995, he did clinical residency course on neurosurgery at the Scientific and Research Institute for Neurology, Neurosurgery and Physiotherapy of the Ministry of Health of the republic of Belarus.
• Since 1995, he had been working as a neurosurgeon at the 5th City Clinical Hospital.  
• Since 2000, he had been an assistant of the Course on Neurosurgery, and then – of the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery of BelMAPE.
• From 2000 to 2003, Andrei Tanin did PhD course at the Scientific and Research Institute for Neurology, Neurosurgery and Physiotherapy of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus.
• In 2003, he defended Candidate’s thesis; since 2007, he has been working as an associate professor.  
• From 2010 to 2015, he worked as a director of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Neurology and Neurosurgery of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus; he is a chief visiting neurosurgeon of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus.

Andrei Tanin has the highest qualification category in neurosurgery.

He got the reward for the excellence in health of the Republic of Belarus; he got diplomas from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus and BelMAPE.

He is an author of 110 publications, including 2 monographs.

The area of his scientific interests: neurooncology.
