Ekaterina Mazurenko

Ekaterina Mazurenko was born in Minsk. She graduated from Minsk State Medical Institute with a distinction.

From 1994 to 2000: a neurologist at Minsk Clinical Hospital № 2;

From 2000 to 2011: a neurologist at Clinical Center of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Belarus;

From 2005 to 2008: clinical residency in neurology at the Scientific and Research Center for Neurology and Surgery;

From 2011 to 2014: PhD student of the Department of Neurology and Surgery of BelMAPE;

From 2014 – assistant of the Department of Neurology and Surgery of BelMAPE, from 2017 – associate professor of the Department of Neurology and Surgery of BelMAPE;

In 2017, Ekaterina Mazurenko successfully defended Candidate’s thesis entitled "Clinical and neurovisual aspects of cognitive disorders in patients with Parkinson’s disease".

The areas of her scientific interests are the following ones: diagnostics and treatment of Parkinson’s disease, neurodegenerative diseases, cognitive disorders. She is an author of more than 40 publications, including 2 educational guides, the patent for invention "Method of determination of cognitive disorders in patients with Parkinson’s disease".
