In 1975, Elena Levonchuk graduated from Minsk State Medical Institute in general medicine. From 1975 to 1976, she did internship in dermatovenerology, and then she worked as a dermatovenerologist in the town of Dzerzhinsk of Minsk region.
From 1980 to 1982, she did clinical residency course at the Department of Dermatovenerology of Belarusian State Institute for Advanced Medical Training. Since 1982, she has been working at Belarusian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education: until 1986 – as a senior laboratory assistant, from 1986 to 2001 – as an assistant, from 2001 until the present – as an associate professor of the Department of Dermatovenerology.
In 1986, she defended Candidate’s thesis entitled «Pathogenesis and complex therapy of torpid gonorrhea in women».
In 2002, Elena Levonchuk got the academic title of an associate professor in clinical medicine.
She is an author of more than 160 publications, 9 educational guides.
She is a dermatologist of the highest category.
She is in charge of the supervision of clinical residents.
Elena Levonchuk conducts treatment and advisory work at the Republican Advisory Center, Minsk and Regional Venerology Dispensaries, Professor’s Advisory Center of BelMAPE.
She is an honorable member of Belarusian Public Organization of Dermatovenerologists and Cosmetologists, a member of the editorial board of the journal «Family doctor».
