Georgi Emelyanov

Georgi Emelyanov was born in Minsk in a family of an employee. He graduated from Minsk State Medical Institute in 1982. From 1982 to 1986, he worked as a pediatrician at the Medical Unit of Orsha Linen Factory. From 1986 to 1989, he underwent training at clinical residency at the Scientific and Research Institute for Maternity and Childhood Protection. In 1989, he worked as a neonatologist at the Unit of Neonatal Infections of Minsk City Clinical Hospital № 7. From 1989 to 1993, he worked as a junior scientific researcher at the Scientific and Research Institute for Maternity and Childhood Protection. From 1993 to 2003, he worked as a leading specialist and then as a consultant at the Department of Sciences of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus. Since 2005, Georgi Emelyanov had been working as an assistant at the Department of Medical and Social Expertise and Rehabilitation of BelMAPE; since November, 2005, he started to work as a deputy head of the Department of Medical and Social Expertise and Rehabilitation.

In 1993, he got the academic title of a Candidate of Medical Sciences.

He has 10 publications, including one methodological recommendation. He is an author of 2 inventor's certificates.
