Ignaty Davidovsky

Associate professor of the Department of Surgery of BelMAPE, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Belarus

Ignaty Davidovsky was born on the 2nd of December, 1942.

He graduated from Minsk State Medical Institute in 1966.

1966-1972 – surgeon, head of the Surgery Division of Berezino Central Regional Hospital;

1972-1980 – surgeon at the Division of Vascular Surgery of Minsk Regional Clinical Hospital;

1980-1993 – assistant at the Department of Surgery of BelMAPE

Since 1993 until the present – associate professor of the Department of Surgery of BelMAPE;

In 1984, Ignaty Davidovsky defended his Candidate’s thesis entitled «General principles of diagnostics and treatment of rupture of abdominal aortic aneurysm».

In 1992, Ignaty Davidovsky was awarded the title of Laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Belarus for a cycle of works and development of angiosurgical medical care in the Republic of Belarus. 

Ignaty Davidovsky was awarded with the anniversary medal «For valiant work in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of V. I. Lenin». He got an award for excellence in healthcare of the Republic of Belarus.

Ignaty Davidovsky is an author and coauthor of 172 scientific works, among them there is 1 monograph, 29 rational proposals, and 4 inventions.
