Irina Tikhonenko

The fields of practical and scientific activities: improvement of the methods of ultrasonic diagnostics in obstetrics and gynecology, prenatal diagnostics, development of the methods of ultrasonic diagnostics of tumors in fetus, the methods of ultrasonic diagnostics of fetal disorders.

Education: Minsk State Medical Institute, Faculty of General Medicine.

Irina Tikhonenko finished clinical residency at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Minsk State Medical Institute.

Irina Tikhonenko did internships in hospital in Germany, USA, Great Britain.

She defended Candidate’s thesis in obstetrics and gynecology and radiation diagnostics.

In 2017, she got the academic title of associate professor.

Since 2006, she had been working as a physician of ultrasound diagnostics.

Work experience: obstetrician-gynecologist, physician of ultrasound diagnostics. Since 2008, she had been working as a physician of ultrasound diagnostics (head of the unit) at the Unit of Ultrasound Diagnostics (Interdistrict Center for Prenatal Ultrasound Diagnostics).

The 1st City Clinical Hospital of Minsk.

Scientific and methodical work: 1 rational proposal, 1 invention, 48 printed works, 3 methodical developments, 4 instructions of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus.

Irina Tikhonenko usually participates at city, Republican and international conferences and symposia.  

She was awarded the badge of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus "Excellence in Health of the Republic of Belarus" in 2016.
