In 1984, Marina Tesakova graduated from Minsk Red Banner of Labor State Medical Institute. In 1992, she completed PhD course at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Belarusian State Institute for Advanced Medical Training and defended Candidate’s thesis.
Since 1987, Marina Tesakova has been working at Belarusian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education, since 2003 – as an associate professor of the department. In 2004, she got the academic title of associate professor.
Marina Tesakova is an author of 70 publications, including 14 teaching aids for physicians, 7 instructions of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, a coauthor of a course of lectures on the specialty «Obstetrics and Gynecology», a member of the working group for writing clinical protocols for monitoring of pregnant women, women in labor, mothers, diagnostics and treatment in obstetrics and gynecology.
The main topics of her lectures are the problems of pathological childbirth, including induced one, operative delivery, STIs, intrauterine infections, pharmacology of pregnancy, PID and antibiotic therapy, diagnostics in obstetrics and gynecology with accompanying accounting forms of medical records.
