Mikhail Gain

Mikhail Gain graduated from Belarusian State Medical University and finished PhD course at the Department of Emergency Surgery of BelMAPE.

In January, 2015, he defended his Candidate’s thesis entitled "Laser technologies in complex treatment of hemorrhoid and its complications" (research advisor - S.V. Shakhrai).

His main scientific interests are the following ones: proctology, phlebology, minimally invasive and ambulatory surgery, laser medicine.

Mikhail Gain is an author and coauthor of 178 printed works: 3 monographs, 5 chapters of study guides, 5 study guides, 39 articles in foreign and domestic publications, 83 theses and materials of conferences, 17 patents of the Republic of Belarus, 17 innovative suggestions, 5 instructions, approved by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, 3 laboratory regulations, 1 clinical protocol of diagnostics and treatment.

Apart from giving lectures on ambulatory and minimally invasive surgery at the Department of Emergency Surgery of BelMAPE, Mikhail Gain also conducts medical advisory work at Minsk City Clinical Hospital № 11.
