Olga Svetlitskaya was born in the family of employees in Kiev. In 1999, she graduated from Minsk Red Banner of Labor State Medical Institute with a specialty in general medicine. She did internship in anesthesiology and intensive care at the 9th City Clinical Hospital of Minsk. From 2002 to 2004, she worked as an anesthesiologist and intensivist at the Unit of Intensive Therapy and Resuscitation of the Center of Bone-Marrow Transplantation of the 9th City Clinical Hospital of Minsk.
From 2004 to 2007, she did clinical residency course at the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care of BelMAPE.
From 2005 to 2010, Olga Svetlitskaya worked as an assistant at the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, and since 2010 – as an associate professor at the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care of BelMAPE.
In 2009, she successfully defended Candidate’s thesis.
Her scientific interests include the following: diagnostics and intensive therapy of critical conditions. She is an author and coauthor of 82 publications, including 4 teaching aids, 3 instructions of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, 1 patent.
Olga Svetlitskaya is a chairwoman of the Council of Young Scientists of BelMAPE, a member of the Board of BelMAPE, Research and Technology Board and Educational and Methodological Board.
She is also a member of the European Association of Anesthesiologists and a member of the Board of the Republican Association of Anesthesiologists and Intensivists. She is a project leader of Vnauke.by.
