Svetlana Rachok

Svetlana Rachok was born in the village of Sloboda, Minsk region. She graduated from the Lyceum of the Belarusian State University in 1992, and Minsk State Medical Institute in 1998. From 1998 to 2000, she did clinical residency course at the Department of Cardiology and Rheumatology of Belarusian State Institute for Advanced Medical Training. From 2000 to 2002, she worked as a junior researcher at the laboratory «Experimental Cardiology» of the Central Scientific and Practical Laboratory of BelMAPE. From 1999 to 2008, she worked as a cardiologist at the Cardiology Unit for patients with myocardial infarction №1 of the 1st City Clinical Hospital of Minsk.

In 2006, Svetlana Rachok defended Candidate’s thesis.

Since 2008, Svetlana Rachok had been working as an assistant at the Department of Cardiology and Rheumatology of BelMAPE, since 2011 – as an associate professor.

She is an author of 60 publications.

Svetlana Rachok is a chief visiting cardiologist of the Health Committee of Minsk City Executive Committee.
