Svetlana Sharapova

Svetlana Sharapova graduated from International Sakharov Environmental University, Faculty of Environmental Medicine, with a specialty in immunology, in 2007. In 2014, she defended Candidate’s thesis on the specialty “Clinical immunology and allergology”. She did internship at the Health Research Institute (INSERM, U768), Paris (France). Since 2019, she has been a visiting scientist for the study of genetic landscape of severe combined immunodeficiencies in Eastern Europe at the Department of Allergology / Immunology at Johns Hopkins Children's Hospital, University of South Florida, St. Petersburg, Florida, USA. She is a principal investigator of two international grants. She is an author and coauthor of 35 publications, including 15 articles in peer-reviewed foreign journals, indexed in PubMed. Since 2019, he has been a member of the working group on the work of the European Registry of Patients with Primary Immunodeficiencies (ESID - European Society for Immunodeficiencies).
