Doctor of Medical Sciences, professor, head of the Department of Ophthalmology, chief visiting ophthalmologist of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus

In 1980, Tatiana Imshenetskaya graduated from Minsk Medical Institute on the specialty «General Medicine».

In 1996, she defended Candidate’s thesis entitled «Closed vitrectomy in the treatment of traumatic hemophthalmia».

In 2003, Tatiana Imshenetskaya defended Doctoral thesis entitled «Surgical approach in the treatment of proliferative syndrome at eye diseases and damages».

In 2009, she got the academic title of a professor.

Tatiana Imshenetskaya is an author of more than 286 publications on the issues of diagnostics and treatment of traumatic hemophthalmia, vitreoretinal surgery in the treatment of     retinal separation, surgical treatment of proliferative syndrome at diabetic retinopathy, surgical treatment of refractory glaucoma; she is an author of 7 patents, 10 educational guides, 3 instructions for use.

Annually, Tatiana Imshenetskaya participates at international scientific forums with presentations.

She is an active member of the Society of Ophthalmologists in Germany (DOG), Bulgarian Ophthalmology Society, European Society of Retinal Surgeons, Russian Society of Ophthalmologists.

She is a member of the International Glaucoma Expert Board (Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine)

Tatiana Imshenetskaya did advanced training courses at the Center for Vitreoretinal Surgery (Cologne, Frankfurt — Germany), at the Department of Ophthalmology of Military Medical Academy (Saint-Petersburg). She is an ophthalmologist with the highest qualification category.

Tatiana Imshenetskaya is a member of editorial boards of the following ophthalmology journals: Ophthalmology «Eastern Europe» (Belarus), Russian Pediatric Ophthalmology (Russia, «Bulgarian forum Glaucoma» (Bulgaria).
