Viktor Kirilenko was born in 1966 in Gomel region. In 1981, he was admitted to Chernobyl Medical College, Feldsher's Division. In 1985, after the graduation from college, he was sent to work to Borispol Central Regional Hospital, Kiev region, where he had been working as a medical assistant before military service.
From 1985 to 1987 – military service in the Armed Forces. After demobilization, Viktor Kirilenko worked as a medical emergency assistant at Narovlya Central Regional Hospital. In 1990, after entrance examinations, he was admitted to Grodno Medical Institute. From 1996 to 1997, he did a one-year internship in obstetrics and gynecology at Minsk Regional Maternity Hospital and was sent to work to Local Medical Association of Starya Darohi, Minsk region.
From 1997 to 2000, Viktor Kirilenko worked as a gynecologist-obstetrician at women’s consultation clinic of Local Medical Association of Starya Darohi.
From 2000 to 2002, Viktor Kirilenko underwent clinical residency at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Belarusian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education.
From 2002 to 2005, he did his PhD course at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of BelMAPE.
Since 2006, he has been working at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of BelMAPE.
In 1999, he got the 2nd qualification category in obstetrics and gynecology.
In 2004, Viktor Kirilenko got the 1st qualification category in obstetrics and gynecology.
In 2010, he got the highest qualification category.
In 2008, he defended his Candidate’s thesis and got the title of a Candidate of Medical Sciences.
Since 2009 – assistant of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of BelMAPE, since 2013 – associate professor.
Viktor Kirilenko coordinates the 2nd Gynecology Unit of Clinical Maternity Hospital of Minsk Region. His main scientific interest is prevention of purulent-septic complications.
