Vladimir Sedun

From 1994 to 1995, Vladimir Sedun did internship in surgery at Minsk City Clinical Hospital for Emergency Medical Care.

From 1995 to 1997, he worked as a surgeon at the Diagnostic and Surgical Units №2 of the Hospital for Emergency Medical Care in Minsk. 

From 1997 to 2000, Vladimir Sedun worked as an endoscopist and a surgeon at the Diagnostic Surgical Unit of the Hospital for Emergency Medical Care in Minsk. 

In 2000, Vladimir Sedun started to give lectures as an assistant at the Department of Emergency Surgery of BelMAPE, where he has been working until the present. 

Since 2008, he has been working as a chief visiting endoscopist of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus.  Since 2009, he has been an expert on endoscopy of the Center for Testing and Expertise in Healthcare of the Republic of Belarus.

Academic activities
The main topics of his lectures and practical sessions are devoted to emergency endoscopic diagnostic and treatment investigations in emergency surgery, endoscopic diagnostics of the pathology of the digestive system, bronchial tree. 

Vladimir Sedun created more than 70 lecture modules and practical sessions. Together with other authors, he developed the instruction for use entitled «Effective endoscopic gemostasis at ulcer gastroduodenal hemorrhage». He developed the educational plan and advanced training program in endoscopy.

Vladimir Sedun carries out complicated endoscopic operations, treatment and diagnostic endoscopic medical interventions.

In 2006, he got the highest qualification category in surgery.
